Using Youthentity’s 5-Year Life Plan, let us help you navigate the vast number of careers and find the best fit for you based on your interests and your personal financial goals.

DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE HERE

For most high school graduates, career training and higher education is critical for success. It can also be incredibly daunting. As education costs continue to rise, developing a financial plan alongside a career pathway is evermore important. High Five Your Life helps students to explore career interests and map out pathways to a satisfying career, including two-year degrees, trade schools, and apprenticeships.

Let’s look at all of the options and work together to develop a plan that ignites your passions and helps you meet your future financial goals. Let’s “high five” your life!

How does it work?

High Five Your Life is typically facilitated in a 6-8 week workshop taught by Youthentity staff. The program progresses in five steps:

STEP 1: DISCOVER YOUR INTERESTS

Learn about work personalities, job zones, and career preparation options. Discover YOUR work personality and begin uncovering the careers best suited for you!

STEP 2: RESEARCH CAREER OPTIONS

Dive deeper into your career interests. Learn about the skills and qualifications needed for the career your want, and evaluate the compensation and growth opportunities.

STEP 3: ACCOUNT FOR ALL CONSIDERATIONS

What provider will help you reach your career goals in the most efficient way? What factors should you consider when choosing to enter the workforce, pursue post-secondary training, or attending college or university?

STEP 4: CAREER PREPARATION COSTS

Determine the costs of a career, what preparation do you need after high school and how do you pay for it?

STEP 5: DEVELOP A BUDGET

Understand the financial responsibilities after high school. How will your financial picture change after school, during college, and after entering the workforce?

STEP 6: REVIEW YOUR CAREER PLAN RESULTS

Finish with a comprehensive career plan that will outline your path after high school and estimated financial outcomes when pursuing a specific career.
